Johnny N. Lovato

Age, 71, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 24, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Angelica Lovato; children David Lovato and wife, Laura, Anna Marie Monte Calvo and husband, Nick, Arnold Lovato and wife, Cindy, Steven Lovato and wife, Cathy, Tomas Lovato, Mario Duran, and Rachel V. Duran; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings Raymond Lovato and wife, Gloria, Mary Marlene Norero, Rose Connie Herrera, and Daniel Lovato and wife, Margaret; sister-in-law Bobbie Lovato; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Lovato was preceded in death by his mother Rose C. Lovato, father Joe E. Lovato, and brother Joseph Lovato Jr. Johnny worked as an executive chef and was part of the opening of Sandia Casino. Rosary will be recited Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-University followed by a prayer service. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Norero, Phillip Norero, Sam Herrera, Mario Duran, Jessie Garcia and Anthony Franklin.
