Johnny F. Chavez

Johnny Chavez, age 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, May 5, 2019. He entered this world on Monday, June 6, 1938 in Albuquerque, NM born to Paul and Josephina Chavez. He is survived by his daughters, Eleanor Lucero and Jenny Orona; spouse, Emily Chavez; grandchildren, Alysha and Emily Lucero, Dominic and Justin Orona. Johnny served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963. A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 6:30 p.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church at 300 Mildred Ave. NW. A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, 9:30 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
