Johnny Purganan Alvarado

Johnny P. Alvarado passed away on March 1, 2022.

Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Louise S. Alvarado. He leaves behind his step-children, Richard Lancaster (Carolyn) and Eileen Tuleja (John); grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Ericka and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Jordan, Brayden, Eleanor and Callum as well as extended family in Detroit and California. Cremation has taken place and a private burial service is to take place at a later date.

Johnny retired from the USAF and later from Sandia Lab Federal Credit Union. A special thank you to Kat and Roger, his care givers, during the time he was with them and to High Desert Hospice and staff.

We would also like to thank the Veterans for Foster Care Program (Nikki and Valerie) for all they do for Veterans.

As his grandson, Tanner said, "Now he can join great-grandma in Heaven playing at the biggest casino with the best games."
