Johnathan Cody Irwin, age 37, was born July 14, 1987, and passed away January 4, 2025.
Cody was soft-hearted, quick-witted, and kind. He gave of himself to those around him, often volunteering to take on whatever tasks he could. He enjoyed music from the eighties and nineties, and he loved all things vehicle related (except the bloody knuckles from car repair, and he maybe even loved that if you really pressed him about it). He spent his free time playing computer games, playing with his kids, and harassing his wife.
Cody's favorite thing in life was being a father. He loved his children with every word, every breath, and every moment of every day. He thought they were fascinating, amazing, wonderful people, and he loved getting to be a part of their lives. He is lucky to have six people call him Dad in his life, and if he could have, he would have had another six.
Cody was a dedicated husband who loved and cherished his wife. He was a wonderful partner who shared the joys and burdens of life with love and laughter. He made sure Jennifer knew every time she entered or exited the space he was in that he loved her and that she was continuously in his thoughts. He told her every day that he was proud of her. The only disagreement they had was who was the lucky one in their relationship. Since Jennifer gets the last word in the matter, she gets to declare that she was the lucky one.
Cody is survived by his wife, Jennifer Irwin; his children, Hannah, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Coral, Leif, and Tanner; his father, Charles Irwin; his mother, Michelle Irwin; his brother, Charles Irwin; his grandmothers, Joy Sparks and Lenora Irwin; and two nieces and a nephew.
