John R. Taylor (43) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18, 2023. JT "Hitman" was known for his love of riding his motorcycle which led to some great adventures with his brothers. He had an infectious smile and was always there when you needed him. He was a proud Marine, a father, a son and most importantly a loving husband. JT had spent the last several years completing his apprenticeship program and was now working as a journeyman lineman. JT had incredible taste in food, music, and beer. He loved training in mixed martial arts and was known as "Champ" to those who dare challenge to race him on the Beast. Sylvia helped him pick out his new bike so therefore you knew it was a good-looking bike. John is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia who shared a love with him that could never be broken; his two daughters, Avery and Harper who always managed to amaze him with their imagination, intelligence, and humor; his parents, Floyd and Caroline Taylor who he had the deepest respect and love for. John will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at FRENCH- Westside from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
