John Rywalt, age 83, loving husband, father and friend, passed away on Monday, September 28th, 2015. He was born in the Bronx and attended City College. His career took him to Denver and then to Albuquerque. John was known for his great sense of humor, his passion for gourmet cooking, fine red wines, jazz, the New York Yankees and Agent 007. He had an incredible work ethic and was still running his own tax business, as well as the accounting operations of an outside company.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his daughters, Lois (Robert) Nadorff, Susan (William) Roser, and Denise (Ralph) Miller. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Irvine and Elaine O'Rourke. He leaves many cherished nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his sister, Catherine Spagnolo, on June 26th, 2015.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society online at www.cancer.org.
