John Mac Russell

RUSSELL, John Mac Age 77, a resident of Jemez Springs, died Friday, October 18, 2013. He is survived by sister, Mary V. Russell of Jemez Springs, sons, William Russell and wife Georganne of Bakersville, CA, Tom Russell and wife Debra of Albuquerque, NM, Harold Russell of Rapid City, SD, granddaughters, Catherine, Lee and Kate and many other family and friends. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Russell and his parents Harold and Vaughn Russell. He was a longtime member of the Methodist Church in Las Cruces. John served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion in Las Cruces and Jemez Springs. He was a member of the Lions Club, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and the Masonic Lodge. Graveside services were held Friday, October 25, 2013, 9:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Las Cruces.
