John Ortiz

Age 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Georgie L. Ortiz; daughter, Amanda (Kenny) Viramontes; 3 grandchildren, Christian, Ilianna and Dominic; 4 siblings, Andy (Joan) Ortiz, Marian Greene, Rosemarie Romero and Katharine (Larry) Gustafson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. John was also survived by his babies, Zorro, Ayechihuahua, Rudy, Lollipop and Rosie.John was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Jennie Ortiz; brother, Gene Ortiz and PI. John was a member of Legacy Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Church - East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, with Pastor Steve Smothermon, officiating. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Cancer Association, 5911 Jefferson St NE or the Humane Society, 615 Virginia Street SE in John's honor.
