John C. Niedbala, Sr.

John C. Niedbala, Sr. passed away at home on October 16th, 2023 at the age of 84. John entered this world on October 9 in Detroit, MI, born to John and Rose Niedbala, whom preceded him in death as well as his sister Rose Witkowski. John is survived by wife of 58 years, Sherrie Niedbala, son Chuck Niedbala and his wife, Xinyu, son Jack, his namesake John C Niedbala Jr., only daughter, Kellie Quinn Niedbala, and adored granddaughter LinXi Niedbala; two nieces, Tanya and Tara.  John served in 2 branches of the military, first the Navy and then the Air Force from 1958 - 1979. John spent a lifetime with The Knights of Columbus and served proudly as a Grand Knight. John was creative and dabbled in many arts from jewelry making to leather work. He loved fishing, cooking, gardening, could play many instruments by ear and loved spending time with family and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5-7 pm at FRENCH-Lomas. Memorial Mass to be said Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Indian School Road.
