John A. Malmstrom, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Anne Malmstrom; children, Jo Malmstrom-Okita and husband Lincoln, and Jay Malmstrom and wife Gail; grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Jordan, Logan, Priscilla and Robert; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John Malmstrom; parents, Oscar and Anna Malmstrom; and all five of his siblings. He was not the man that his wife Anne married 67 years ago but he was still hers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio Dr. NE, Suite L, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Memorial donations may be made to Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church.
