John (Rod) Land, born August 22, 1947, died May 26, 2014. Rod is survived by his wife, Marian; daughters, Janice Hampton and Lori Slagle; grandchildren, Holly Hawk, Sam Slagle and Cassie Slagle; sisters, Therese Land, Marion Payton, and brother, Richard Land along with several nieces and nephews. Rod was preceded in death by brother, Leon Land and sister, Clara Land and parents, Leon and Clara Land. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Animal Humane Society or the ASPCA in Rod's name.
