John Knox died on Sunday, July 25, 2021, 6:21 a.m., at 95 years old. John was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1925, and would have been 96 in a few weeks. John joined the Marines when he was 17 years old and served for many years. After he was discharged from the Marines, he re-enlisted and joined the Air Force. His final discharge was in 1968, after a total of 22 years of service, with the title of Master Sergeant John Knox. He later worked for a commercial airline as a mechanic.
In 1974, John and his wife, Georgette began studying the bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. After a year of leaning about the faith, they decided to be baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. John became very dedicated in his faith and serving his God Jehovah.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. John was known as a very generous man and will be remembered as such by all who knew him. We will all miss John, but we know we will see him in the Resurrection. (Acts 24:15)
