John Cornish Hendrix

John C. Hendrix went home to be with the Lord on May 27th, 2021. John was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, attending Albuquerque High School and upon graduation, enlisting in the U. S. Army where he served honorably in Korea. John later attended Regis University in Denver followed by a long career working for Public Service Company of New Mexico until his retirement.

John is survived by Beverly Hendrix his wife in marriage for 62 years; his sons, Michael Hendrix and his wife, Margaret, and Christopher Hendrix and his wife, Linda. John was a devoted grandfather to 7 grandchildren.

John loved jazz and was an accomplished pianist. He cherished and lived for his family and was adored and respected by his family, many friends, and coworkers, who often referred to him as Big John.

A Private Celebration of Life was held on May 30, 2021.
