John D. Hagenow

HAGENOW, JOHN D. Age 72, recently of Albuquerque, NM and a resident of Tinley Park, IL from 1982 until 2013, died Friday, November 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce I. Hagenow (nee Stuppy) of Albuquerque; daughter Erin L. Hagenow and husband Glenn Nicol of Albuquerque; son Rev. Michael J. Hagenow of Coronado, CA; grandsons Orion and Everett Nicol of Albuquerque; sister Julie Gulley of Lawrenceville, GA; nephews Matt Leeker of Las Vegas, NV and Paul (Neena) Gulley of Norcross, GA and niece Anne (Jeff) Cobb of Peotone, IL. Mr. Hagenow was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Luetta (Schumacher) Hagenow of La Porte, IN, and his sister Joyce Leeker of Lawrenceville, GA. A visitation will be held at French Funeral Home, 1111 University Blvd NE in Albuquerque from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, with the Rev. Rachael Powell of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Albuquerque conducting Evening Prayer at 5:00 p.m. Memorial Worship will be conducted on Saturday, November 16 at Christ Lutheran Church, 14700 S. 94th Avenue in Orland Park, IL; with family visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Ray Rohlfs of Christ Lutheran. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Orland Park or Rotary International.
