John Disque

John Disque passed away Monday, October 18 at age 66.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, he will be missed by many including his wife Margaret, son Paul and his wife Tamara, daughter Alanna, siblings Jeff and Jeanene, and parents-in-law Maggie and Charlie Batsel. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Helen Disque in 2019. His extended family was very important to him and included a special cousin Amanda Tinsley, nieces Tory and Stephanie, and nephews Zane and Curtis.

John was worshipped by his little dogs Trixie and Dixie, and had many canine companions waiting for him in Heaven. He was an amazing businessman and co-owned Custom Paint Center for many years. More recently he operated Best Bid and consulted at Get-a-Grip. Despite numerous physical challenges, he kept his signature positive outlook and sense of humor. He was great at being there for the many friends and family who will miss having lunch with and getting late night texts from him. In honor of John, tell someone you love a corny joke.

A Service will be held at Sandia Baptist Church on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 4:00.

John hated uncomfortable clothes so please dress casually and comfortably.
