John J. Contreras

John Contreras, 73, beloved son, brother, father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on December 3, 2015. He entered this world on May 17, 1942 in Veguita, NM, born to Manuel and Beatrice Contreras. He is survived by his mother Beatrice Contreras; his sister Mary Garcia and brother-in-law Gilbert Garcia; his four children: Sandra Donaldson, Rhonda Falcone, Jeannette Snell and Jay Contreras; his sons-in-law: Les Donaldson, Dave Snell and Vince Falcone. He was a grandfather to eight grandchildren: Lucas, Nicholas, Ben, Caroline, Andrew, Patrick, Charlie and Sara. John was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses in Albuquerque during his lifetime. He was known and loved by many people but wanted his memorial and burial services to be with immediate family members only. Services were held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Risen Savior Catholic Community and John was laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery immediately following surrounded by his family.
