John Bliss

John Bliss, age 84, of Albuquerque, passed away after a long illness on November 12, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Casey Bliss; son, Robert Todd Bliss and wife Cheryl; two granddaughters, Katherine and Cameryn of Jenks, OK; sister-in-law, Fran Horne and husband Robert; nephew, Jeffery Granone; and dear friends, Pat and Charles Stout of Pawhuska, OK, as well as many other loving family members and friends. He was attached to the Weapons Lab NASA Group at Sandia National Laboratories from which he retired, later working for the State of New Mexico.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at FRENCH - Wyoming on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd. SE. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. The Bliss family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Gentiva Hospice.
