Joelle Yvonne Baca

Joelle Yvonne Baca, age 30 years and two months, passed to the next life on April 3rd, 2017. She is survived by her parents, Maurice (Steele) and Connie Jo; her grandmothers, Connie and Betty; her twin sister, Juliette; her half-sister, and half-brother, Amber, and Sterling; her uncles, Nicky, Mel, Forrest; aunt, Barbara Jean; her cousins, Jimmy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jayme, Adam, Marcus, and Lauren; and many other family members and friends. Joelle was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leo and Melvin; uncle, Jimmy; and aunt, Deena. She was a graduate of Eldorado High School, and then attended UNM where she studied psychology and sociology. After, Joelle pursued studies in healing arts and kinesiology. She loved to travel, enjoyed being outdoors, and felt a deep connection to all living creatures. Joelle was deeply devoted to practicing meditation and was a dedicated member of Sukyo Mahikari, the Art of True Light. She is deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the Service on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
