Joe Allen White

Joe Allen White, 63, passed away Thursday, 21 May 2015 of health complications, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born 27 May 1951 in Cheyenne Wells, CO; the second child of Bernard D. White and Ruby (Underwood) White. Joe was preceded in death by both parents. He was raised in Aztec, NM. Joe played baseball throughout his child hood and through college. He graduated from Aztec HS with the class of 1969; and from Western University, Silver City, NM, in 1973, with a Biology degree. During Joe's career he lived and worked in NM, CO, KS, MN. He enjoyed the work he performed and the people that touched his life. During his lifetime he enjoyed participating in and watching many sports, including: pool, baseball, golf, fishing, biking, and football. He retired in 2005 and returned to Albuquerque from CO in 2007. Joe is survived by one sister, Vicki (White) Blackmer, of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, Patrick D. White, Vancouver, WA and Kelly S. White, Bloomfield, NM. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew, five great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous cousins and their families. He had many friends that he leaves behind as well. He was loved will be missed. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
