JIMENEZ, JOE M "BUCKY"
Age 87, born in Pueblo, CO in 1925 came to Albuquerque in 1951, and died Friday, August 17, 2012. He retired from APS after 27 years. He was the survivor of a family of thirteen brothers and sisters. Bucky was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Desideria Jimenez who were born in Aguascalientes, Mexico; his brothers, Salvador, Manuel, and Carlos; and sisters Guadalupe, Concepcion, Apolonia (Pola), Rosario, and Lena; his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Amada Narvaiz; and his favorite brother-in-law, Fermin Ortiz. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha; sons, Jose, Juan and wife, Irmgard, Albert and wife, Stella, and Reuben and wife, Delia; his only daughter, Lily; grandchildren, Jolie, Daniel, Martin, Kyle, Kurt, Anita and Levi; step-grandchildren, Maria and Miguel; many, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Bucky's favorite things to do were watching TV, working in his yard, and loving his truck. He was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed a cold Coors. Bucky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held at Saturday, September 1, 2012, 9:00 a.m with Mass following at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, 833 Arizona Ave. SE.
