Joe Holdridge died on March 6, 2016. He was born on September 9, 1932, in De Leon, Texas to Mildred and Lee Holdridge. He is survived by his wife, Diane; his daughter, Lori Tonder; and his grandson, Travis and granddaughter, Logan. Joe moved to Albuquerque in 1954, first serving in the Air Force and then working at Sandia National Laboratories for thirty years. After retirement, he became a Master Gardener - specializing in tomatoes. Joe was known as "Albuquerque's Mr. Tomato". A Memorial Service will be Sunday, March 13, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd NE.
