Joe Leondro Garcia Jr.

Joe L. Garcia, Jr., age 74, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

He is survived by his children, Ramona Garcia, Joanna Gutierrez and husband, Joell, Amanda McClellen and husband, Lee, and Joey Garcia and wife, Rosalie; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Julian Garcia and wife, Helen, Rosalie Martindale and husband, Edward, Mary Lou Barreras and husband, Jerry; and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose L. and Ramoncita Zamora Garcia; and one grandchild.

Joe was born in 1943 in Socorro, NM and graduated from Socorro High School, Class of 1964. He went to work for Coca Cola, Creamland, and Bordens for many years. Joe loved his 1971 Chevelle. Joe was a very private person but loved his family dearly.

Cremation has taken place and private interment will take place at San Miguel Cemetery in Socorro, NM at a later date.
