Joan B. Lillie

Joan B. Lillie, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, returned home Friday, February 28, 2014. She is survived by her children, Debbie Lane Snyder of Albuquerque, Betsy Farmer of Glendale, AZ, Douglas Lane and wife, Sasha of North Carolina, David Lillie and wife, Carol, of Longmont, CO, and Mark Lillie and wife, Lisa, of Albuquerque; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; twin sister, June Bourne of Maine; and brother, William Bloomfield and wife, Kay of New Jersey. Mrs. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Lillie. Joan worked for many years and retired from UNM in the Electrical Engineering Department. She was active in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Rd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Mrs. Lillie's family would like to thank Nina Andrew for her love and care.
