Joan Keegan

Joan Keegan, passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born on May 27, 1933, to Caleb Jobe and Gladys Louise, growing up with her sister, Bobby Sue Jackson and Pat Norris, and her step father, Bud Mears.
 
Joan grew up with her step father Bud Mears who loved all the  girls as his own. Throughout her life, Joan found joy in simple pleasures such as sewing, growing up on the farm, and sharing cherished moments with her family and friends. Her family held a special place in her heart, including her husband Leo, her daughter Debora, and her son William. Joan was also a loving grandmother to Maegan and Jared and great-grandmother to Abraham and Abigail.
 
With a passion for reading and a fondness for Western movies. Her warm smile and compassionate nature endeared her to many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
 
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, forever cherished for her kindness and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace, knowing she was loved beyond measure.

Joan is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Mears and stepfather, Bud, her father, Caleb Jobe and sister Bobby Sue Jackson. She is survived by her sister, Pat Norris, her son, William (Bill) Kindred, her daughter Debora and husband Arthur Earickson, 2 grandchildren, Maegan Earickson and Jared  Earickson and his wife Jennifer; 2 great grandchildren, Abraham and Abigail Earickson.
