JoAn L. Ford

JoAn L. Ford, 78, a native of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023, after a long struggle with dementia and Parkinson's disease. She was born in Albuquerque on December 13, 1944 and lived for a few of her younger years in Jemez Springs, NM. JoAn retired from French Mortuary in 2011 after 22 years working as an administrative assistant and supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, J Harry Ford of Albuquerque; daughters, Melissa Gailey (Darren Hickman) of Albuquerque and Michelle Ford (Kirk Allen) of Rio Rancho; son, Mike Ford (Kim Pope) of La Luz, NM; grandchildren, Mikaela Maldonado and Mylee Jaecks, both of Albuquerque, Zack Bearden of Albuquerque, Baylee Bearden of Rio Rancho, and Camden Ford of La Luz, NM. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Gailey, Jr.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Her kind and loving spirit will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
