Joan M. Ellis

A resident of Albuquerque, peacefully passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Ellis; son, Steven E. Ellis, his wife, Deborah, and their daughter, Melissa Lou Ellis of Albuquerque, NM; and son, Jeffery M. Ellis, his wife, Jennifer, and their daughters Sarena and Talea of Eugene, OR; and sister, Rita Bernell of Albuquerque, NM. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Sadye Bernell and her brother, Gordon. She was a cherished mother, grandmother and best friend and she will be dearly missed. Joan was a member of Congregation Albert. Services will be Sunday, January 5, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd SE.
