Jo-Anne Walston

Age 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ken; children: Angela Walston Danessi of Denver, CO; Ken Jr. and wife Koren of Albuquerque, NM; John and partner Sierra of Albuquerque, NM, Brad of Denver, CO; one grandson, Xavier; and many other family and friends. Jo-Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elsie Rayburn, and her brother John. Jo-Anne was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed extensive travel with her husband and because of Ken's work, they lived overseas in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Aruba. She was an active member of Al-Anon, loved music and movies, and enjoyed spending time with her many friends around the world. Jo-Anne was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 26, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Mountainside United Methodist Church, 4 Penny Lane, Cedar Crest. Because of her husband's service to our country, private Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
