Celebrating the accomplished life of Jimmie L. Warren who died at the age of 91 in Albuquerque, NM on March 6, 2017. He was a son, a husband, a father, and a grandfather before succumbing to dementia. Jimmie was a WWII Naval Officer.
He was born on September 28, 1925 near Castor, LA. His parents were Asa and Willie Mae Warren. Jimmie is preceded in death by one brother, Asa Jackson; and three sisters, Elaine, Eloise, and Imogene. He is survived by his three sons, Michael J. Warren, David Lee Warren, and Roger Turner; and three grandchildren, Valaree Amber Avalona, Asa James Warren, and Ivan Turner. He loved his "small" family and we will miss him and his interesting ways.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017, 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
