Jim Dominic, age 90 of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2015. Jim was born in Krebs, OK on June 28, 1924. He entered the US Navy in 1943 and served as a Naval airman in the South Pacific during World War II until his honorable discharge in 1946. He married Betty Watson in 1947 and they moved to Los Alamos in 1949 where he worked at Los Alamos National Laboratories with the Department of Energy until his retirement in 1990 when they moved to Albuquerque. Jim is survived by his wife, Betty; son, James and wife Annette of Santa Fe; daughter, Deborah Pepion and husband Don of Las Cruces; two granddaughters, Sarah and Maja; and two great-grandsons, Dylan and Darien. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Thelma Shirk, Carrie Smith, Mary Rene, Pete, Carlo and Henry Dominic. Cremation will take place and ennichement will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, .
