BACA, JIM M.Age 70, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Alice Baca; daughters, Jeannette (Tim) Wilson, Teri (Brad) Smith, and Annalee Esterly; son, Jason (Phuong) Baca; grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Nolan and Audrina; step-grandchildren, Whitney, Hunter, KateLynn and KayLee; siblings, George (Bert) Baca, Rose (Robert) DeBlassie, and Cecilia (Paul) Butler; brothers-in-law, Cale, Jack, and Oran; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Mauricio and Estella L. Baca; and brothers, Gilroy and Robert. Jim retired from the Department of Defense at Kirtland Air Force Base after almost 35 years of service for our country. Jim was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and The Pajarito Thunderbird Club. Rosary will be recited Friday, November 23, 2012, 6:00 pm at French - Wyoming Chapel, with visitation one hour prior from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24, 2012, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A reception will also take place from 5-7pm at FRENCH - Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Flowers may be sent to FRENCH Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE.
