"Jim" William J. Akins

"Jim" William J. Akins, Age 46, completed his suffering on Friday, October 30, 2015. He is survived by his son, J.D.; father, Jerry Akins; mother of his son, Jennifer Akins; numerous other relatives and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Akins. He was born in 1969 in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Manzano High, Class of 1987. Jim went on to earn a Certificate in Automotive Repair and Airline Repair. His career was in the manufacturing industry, with many years at Intel and most recently as quality control supervisor of Array Technologies. Jim loved more than anything to coach his son in little league and spend time with him. They were both avid fans of the New Orleans Saints. He was a loving father and son and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be Friday, November 6, 2015, 3:00 p.m at FRENCH - Lomas.
