Jesus M. Gutierrez

Jesus M. Gutierrez, 78, of Albuquerque, NM was called to his eternal resting place on Friday May 19, 2017 peacefully at home. He was born in Anton Chico, NM to Frank and Julia Gutierrez. He moved to Albuquerque and had a successful career in computer operations management for the State of New Mexico and University of New Mexico. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed traveling the world and serving as a Eucharistic Minister for Risen Savior Catholic Church. Jesus was beloved by all of his friends and family. He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Mary Gloria Gutierrez; daughters, Viola Darrow and husband Rick, and Brenda Darnell and husband Walter; five grandchildren, Princess, Cassandra, Calvin, Stephanie, and Grace; and sisters, nephews, and nieces.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church, with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
