Jess Munos

Jess Munos, age 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 6, 2018.  He was born in Oklahoma City and served in the United States Air Force in the 1950s.  He moved to Albuquerque in 1957 with his brother and they owned Munos Paint and Body at 7315 Central NE.  He opened Jess Munos Auto Body in the Journal Center at 7115 Jefferson NE.

Mr. Munos is survived by his wife, Conna; daughters, Delores Munos and Kimberly Munos-Tafoya; and grandchildren.

Friends may visit Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 2010 Bridge Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
