Jerry Martinez

At 1:15, Friday, February 15, our beloved Mother, Jerry Martinez, entered the Kingdom of God. Jerry was born on June 13, 1928 in Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Tom Martinez and her sweet Mother, Lillian Jones. Jerry was loved by many who often visited her gift shop, Grandma's Attic, in Cedar Crest. Jerry is survived by her sister, Virginia Bridges. She leaves behind her children: Brenda Martinez, Diane (Martinez) and Kent Hansen (Matt, Miranda, Terriana, Erik, and Elizabeth Hansen), Bob Martinez (Marisa Martinez), John and Carol Martinez (J.T., Kendra, Teya, and Emerson Martinez and Jodi, Chris, and Logan Towner), James and Jessie Martinez (Tommy and Dru), Gary and Mary Martinez (Jeff and Nicole Martinez, and Ashley, Shawn, and Kingston Ulmer), David and Debbie Martinez (Brandon, Valarie, Halo, and Harmony LePore, Marc LePore, Michelle LePore and Gabe Jaureguiberry, Kimberly, Ian, and Rowan Dunbar, and Berkley Flamming), Beatrice (Martinez) Sanchez (Greg, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Candice, Veronica, and Lena Cunningham, Lora Cunningham, Alyssa and Marlen Cunningham), Terri and Kevin Dailey, and Claudette Navarro. Jerry also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but will remain forever in the hearts of all who loved her. Services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-Lomas.
