Jerraldine Neufeld

Jerraldine Neufeld, age 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a dear friend to all, was called to her eternal resting place on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She entered this world on Tuesday, July 6, 1943 in Clovis, NM. She is survived by her spouse and best friend, Gordon Neufeld; daughters, Pamela Jacobs and Valorie Baum; her son, Patrick Murphy and his spouse; her three brothers, Charlie Jr., Val and Guy Kaspar along with their spouses; her sister, Susan Phelps; as well as all of her nieces and nephews. Jerraldine is also survived by at least 15 grandchildren and at last count 16 great grandchildren.

Her friends on Facebook were numerous and uncountable, her friends were from all over the world and Jeri loved every one of them. Many of these friends were her support group from her last bout with cancer in 1998. Cancer did not win! Jeri would never allow cancer to win. She was overwhelmed by her own body by a liver that had been damaged in years past due to prior cancer treatments.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, 11:30 a.m. FRENCH – University in Albuquerque, NM, however due to the covid situation a limited number of viewers will be allowed to attend her service. You are welcome to contact us at gordyvader@comcast.net about a Celebration of Life to commemorate Jeri's extraordinary life which will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our home in Los Lunas.

She will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, where her Veteran beloved husband Gordon, her best friend, will join her when he is called.
