Jeremiah Alexander Rugwell

April 18, 1988 – September 5, 2023

Jeremiah “Porky Thor” Rugwell, 35, beloved Spouse, Son, Father, Brother, and Grandson, returned to Valhalla on September 5, 2023. He entered this world on April 18, 1988 in Great Falls, MT, born to Dale and Terrie.

He graduated from CMR High School in Great Falls, MT. He left Great Falls for the “Big City” ultimately living in Phoenix, AZ. He eventually settled in New Mexico where he met the love of his life, Lacey in 2016. They married in the spring of 2021. Their little family came together and loved to go to Escape Rooms, play Pokemon Go, and family board games.

Jeremiah loved powerlifting and did it competitively with his Iron Soul family. He loved traveling to competitions, his last one being in Las Vegas, NV. He was proud of his personal records for squat of 600.76, bench-press of 336.2, and deadlift of 650.36. Jeremiah “Jerry” was a loving father and had an amazing sense of humor. He was Meme King and loved sharing them with everyone. He was a plant and animal lover and he took in any animal that needed love.

Jeremiah worked for the Railroad as a carman and certified welder for many years. He traveled to Kansas on many occasions to achieve additional certifications. He received the Safety Coin from the Railroad to recognize his safety and leadership skills.

He is survived by his spouse Lacey Rugwell; mother and stepfather, Terrie and Robin Simonich; father Dale Rugwell; son Dominic Rugwell; son John Fleshman; daughter Leandra "Eleandra" Merendon; sister Jamie Janicke (Josh); nieces and nephews, Korriona, Kalub, Kase, Kearsten; his crazy cat, Tulip; as well as many cousins and family members. A memorial service will be held on 10 am Thursday September 14, 2023 at French Funerals and Cremations 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
