Jeremiah E. Langston was born on February 7, 1997, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Bruce Edward Langston and Delilah Patricia Holguin. He is preceded to the afterlife by his Grandfathers James E. Langston and Arthur Holguin, his Aunt Dee Dee Langston, and Uncle Kenneth Langston. Jeremiah is survived by his parents Bruce Langston, and Delilah Langston, his brother Elijah Langston, his grandmothers Louise Clark and Julia Holguin, his loved ones Malizhzion Williams-Johnson, Cecil Clark and Sherrie Sanchez, his niece and nephew Jasiah Mora and Kamaya Langston, his aunts and uncles Kimberly Harley, Terry Astorga, Pamela Lacey, Tierney Langston and Steven Harley, his God parents Uncle Louis Salas and Aunt Cynthia Salas, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close family friends. Jeremiah unexpectedly departed us on April 16, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a short illness. We mourn his loss, but remain enriched through his life.
Jeremiah was known by those who loved him as a gentle giant full of generosity and kindness. He was a spiritual soul who often could be found in deep and profound contemplation about life. Comfortable alone, surrounded by those he loved, or within large groups, he always demonstrated a confidence that made everyone understand how special he was. Jeremiah had a smile that could light up a room, and a charm that could only be defined as contagious. His mother called him “My Sunshine,” and his brother called him the best of friends.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us the powerful determination of the Bear through Jeremiah Edward Langston. May we move forward in our earthly journey, ever focused on the gift of him that You provided to us, over the grief we experience, through You bringing him home.
