Jennifer Riordan, 43, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, community and philanthropic leader--the list goes on and on--was called to her eternal resting place on April 17, 2018.
She entered this world on November 11, 1974 in Burlington, VT, born to Peter and Joy. She moved to Albuquerque in 1994 with Michael, the love of her life, and together they began to invest in our community.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Riordan; children, Averie and Josh; mother, Joy Lovejoy; father, Peter Guerin and stepmother Darcie; sister, Danielle Slocumb; and so many friends and family. Jennifer's glow inspired us all. Jennifer’s vibrancy, passion, and love infused our community and reached across our country. Her impact on everything and everyone she touched can never be fully measured. But foremost, she was the bedrock of her family. She and Mike wrote a love story unlike any other. Her beauty and love is evident through her children. The family appreciates the outpouring of support from family, friends and our community.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at Popejoy Hall at UNM. Remembrances and contributions can be shared with The Jennifer Riordan Memorial Trust at www.caringcent.com/sparklejennifer.
