Jennifer Anne DiTucci, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 76 on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed and was a wonderful loving person to her family and many friends.
Jennifer was born to Joel S. Davis and Audrey Wilson Davis at the US Naval Hospital in San Diego and grew up in Chula Vista, California. She met her future husband, John P. DiTucci while both were at San Diego State College. They were married in 1967 and John was commissioned as a US Air Force officer later that year. They had two daughters, Julie and Jennifer. They lived in many different cities and states across the country during John's career as an Air Force pilot and made many friends along the way.
Jennifer and John arrived in Albuquerque in 1982 and decided to retire there in 1987. Jennifer graduated from UNM and became a board-certified pediatric clinical dietician. She worked at several institutions in Albuquerque including Presbyterian and UNM hospitals. She loved working as a dietician and only recently retired in her early seventies. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flower gardens, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Julie DiTucci-Reiter (Nathan) and Jennifer DiTucci; grandchildren, Chris and Julianne Reiter, and Anthony and Isabella Dinkel.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming.
