Jennie C. Sandoval

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday evening, January 25, 2020.  She was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 9, 1927 and was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Josefita Chavez; husband, Joe B. Sandoval; three sisters, Ascencion Garcia, Alice Otero, and Frances Godinez; brother, Moises Chavez, granddaughter, Ramona Boyd and great-grandson, Ronnie Galvez.

Jennie is survived by her six children, Ruben Garcia and wife, Margaret, Margaret Fischer and husband, Gregory, Albert Boyd, Merilyn Chavez, Lawrence Salazar, and Leonard Sandoval. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and six stepchildren.

Pallbearers are Ruben Garcia, Albert Boyd, Lawrence Salazar, Leonard Sandoval, Sebastian Madrid and Christopher Chavez.

Known by her entire family, she was always known as the life of the party and quite the jokester, Jennie will be greatly missed by all and will never be forgotten.

A visitation for Jennie will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020, 9:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m., at St Anne’s Catholic Church at 1400 Arenal Rd SW. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
