Jeffrey Alan Disque, was born on Monday, November 25, 1957. The Dallas Cowboys would make or break his birthday depending on whether they won their Thanksgiving Day game. He passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. He deeply loved and was loved by his wife, JoDell "Jody"; mother-in-law, Adell Gulsvig; nieces and nephews, Kody, Kami, Robby, Kayla, Cory, and their spouses; eight grandnieces and nephews. He had many first cousins and second cousins on both sides of the family.
He loved his sister, Jeanene and her husband, Terry. He adored their children, Tory and Zane. He was preceded in death in 2019 by his beloved father, Fred; and his beautiful mother, Helen; and brother, John in 2021. He is survived by John's wife, Margie; niece, Alanna; nephew, Paul and his wife, Tamara.
Jeff was introduced to gymnastics at age 10. He trained, practiced, and competed as an all-around gymnast through college at Arizona State where he received a degree in business. He co-owned and operated his family business, Custom Paint Center.
His paint store sponsored a softball team for many years where Jeff was a coach, manager, and player. He was currently playing senior softball and was always the last one to leave the ballpark.
Jeff's world was his family, Jody, the Eagles band, and many wonderful friends. His ultimate favorite activity was having a burger and a beer. Jeff is known for his kindness, amazing sense of humor, and quick wit. He will be cherished and missed by so many.
We love you Jeff.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE. There will not be a reception at this time. A Celebration of Life in October will be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church (1100 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque NM 87102) in his name.
