Jeffery Andrew Underhill was born on February 6th, 1965 to his loving parents Edward and Josephine Underhill making him the fourth child in their large loving family. Jeff was known for his goofy attitude, his infectious laughter and his incredibly large heart. He spent all of his free time helping others and doing whatever he could to bring a smile to your face whether that meant a surprise gift, a prank, or just a really good joke. If he ever did slow down long enough for a break it was to watch a Red Socks or Dolphins game, work on his mustang, or spend time with the family he loved so much.
Jeff spent the final 13 years of his life dedicated to a cause he was passionate about, the rehabilitation of the homeless and those in need at The Good Shepherd center in downtown Albuquerque. On January 19th of this year Jeff's large heart had reached its capacity and he departed this world leaving behind his son Scott Underhill; his beloved stepchildren, Marci and Craig; his granddaughters, Emilia and Charleigh; and his wonderful siblings, Susan, Todd, and Mark.
He was a man with an overflowing love for others and a sense of humor that was unmatched. Jeff will be missed dearly by those who were lucky enough to spend time in his presence.
A Celebration of Life in his honor will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the VFW event center located at 2011 Girard Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The family welcomes you to come share stories and reflect on his eventful life but asks that in lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to The Good Shepherd, or any other local rehabilitation/recovery organizations to continue Jeff's mission to help others.
