Jeanne Ahner Scherf Miers was born to Edmund and Rose (Heschel) Ahner in Fremont, Ohio on October 1, 1924. She expired peacefully on February 4, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM. Jeanne leaves behind seven children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeanne lived for many years in the Fremont, OH area before moving with her young family to Albuquerque, NM. She was a long time employee at The Covered Wagon in Old Town Albuquerque and late in life decided to follow in her father's footsteps and became a licensed plumber. She resided in Moriarty, NM for many years with her sister Mary Eileen and they both enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. in their van. For the last year of her life, she resided at Las Palomas Center in Albuquerque and enjoyed visits from family members from the area and from out of town.
