Jeanne Hughes

Jeanne Hughes, age 87, a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away on December 9, 2015. She was fiercely loyal, always protective of her family and forever bragging about her two boys, her six grandchildren, and in the last few years her seven great-grandchildren. Jeanne was known as a loving, caring person that smiled often and continuously cared for and encouraged her family with stories of her long and colorful life. Sunday was family day and her most important day of the week. She was a beloved Seahawk fan cheering for them through the good, the bad and the ugly. Jeanne provided the family with many fond and heartwarming memories. These memories will spark entertaining conversations for many generations to come.
She is survived by her first son and his wife, Rocky and Chris Hughes of Albuquerque and their four children, Geoffrey Hughes, Sarah McKamey, Samantha Gunn, and Scott Hughes and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her second son and his wife, Lynn and Donna Hughes of Silverdale, WA, and his two daughters, Jessica Turner and Anna Hughes and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves many cherished friends and neighbors.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on December 21, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at the home of Rocky and Chris Hughes. Please call 505-797-3600 if you would like to attend.
