WADE, Jeanette "Jean" (Armstong) age 91, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico passed away February 24, 2024. Preceded in death by her Husband James B Wade after 45 years of marriage. Parents, Lorena & Owen Martin, Sisters Lois Barker, Anne Adams and Brother Dale Armstrong and grandson Anthony Owen Brady. Jean was a loving Mother/Grandmother/Great-Grandmother. She was known for many things. She loved gardening, animals, working with children, Bible studies and baking. After the passing of her Husband Jim, she accepted the position to continue his role as NARFE President (National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association) where she traveled all over New Mexico fulfilling the job. She volunteered at her church creating table decorations for any upcoming events, which kept her extremely busy. Jean was known for her creativity. She decorated everything. She loved and decorated for all holiday's especially Halloween and Christmas. She made (sewed) most of the clothing her children wore when they were younger. She was a Camp Fire Girl leader for many groups.
She is survived by her children, Linda Brady of Rio Rancho, NM. Nancy Harmon (Milo Harmon) of Rio Rancho, NM. Sheri Wade, of Gilbert, AZ and Allen Wade, of Albuquerque NM. She is survived by her Grandchildren: James Brady (Christi Villanueva) of Tucson, AZ. Daniel Brady (Brandi Brady) of Tucson, AZ. Naomi Hilborn (Dan Hilborn) of Rio Rancho, NM. Joshua Harmon (Jennifer Harmon) of Rio Rancho, NM. Aaron Harmon of Rio Rancho, NM. Kyle Harmon of Travis AFB, CA. Stephanie Bogert (Justin Bogert) of Mesa, AZ. Alyssa Toney (Dallas Troy) of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by her Great-Grandchildren: Jesse Hartman, Carlos & Logan Villanueva, Chloe & Elvis Brady of Tucson, AZ. Symphany, Harmony & Donovan Hilborn and Fabian Lopez of Rio Rancho, NM. Alexis Lang of Gilbert, AZ and Ethan & Riley Bogert of Mesa, AZ.
Funeral Services will be held at 09:30 AM Tuesday March 05, 2024 at Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, 1652 Abrazo Rd. N.E. Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124, with Rev. Rachel Mull officiating. Burial will take place at 12:30 PM, Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St. Santa Fe, NM 87501. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to Children's ministries at Rio Rancho United Methodist Church to honor her memory and continue her legacy of giving back to the community.
