Jeanette Franks

FRANKS, JEANETTE GENDRONJeanette Gendron (Youngblood) Franks was born August 4, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 17, 2012, at the age of 69 years, 13 days. She was married to Larry Youngblood in 1966 and to that union was born one son, Charles Perry Youngblood. The couple was divorced and Jeanette remained single for more than 30 years. Jeanette's life crossed paths with E. Dale Franks, Sr., in December, 2002, through an email prayer chain. The couple first emailed, then came face to face for the first time in 40 years in March, 2003. After many emails and time spent together in May - July, 2003, the couple was married in Dale's home on July 17, 2003, and remained mates, closest friends and companions for more than nine years until Jeanette's passing. Jeanette will be remembers as a loving and devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a gourmet cook, a musician and singer, and a kind and thoughtful friend. Jeanette is survived by her husband, E. Dale Franks, Sr., of Albuquerque, NM, one son, Charles Perry Youngblood, of Tulsa, OK, one grandson, Morgan Caleb Youngblood of Tulsa, OK, her mother, Blanche Wolfe of Tulsa, OK, one brother, Johnny Hays and wife, JoAnn, of Riverside, CA, one sister, Cathy Segroves and husband, Jerry, of Sand Springs, OK, one step-son, E. Dale Franks, Jr., of Escondido, CA, and a host of relatives and friends. A memorial service to honor Jeanette's life will be conducted at Evangel Christian Center, 4501 Montgomery NE, Albuquerque, NM, on Friday, August 31, 2012, at 2:30 pm.
