Our sweet mother, Jean Valentine, age 91, passed away surrounded by friends and family October 24, 2018. She was known for her interest in environmental activism and for the love of her family and children. Jean assisted in establishing KQED - one of the first educational television stations; she volunteered with the Kennedy election; participated fully in the civil rights movement; Woman for Peace and was one of the founding members of 1000 Friends of Valencia County. She was working on a project to bring food and water to impoverished areas of New Mexico before she passed away. She is survived by her three children, Craig Dremann, Karen Dremann, Eric Dremann; grandsons, Gandalf Hudlow and William Dremann-Charlesworth; and great-grandson, Stryder Hudlow.
A Visitation, Rosary, and Mass will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 starting at 8:30 a.m. at the San Clemente Catholic Church located at 244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas, NM 87031. The Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park on 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
