Jean Saran

Jean Saran, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 18, 2019. Jean spent much of her life serving others as a waitress and enjoyed being a hostess for family and friends in her own home. She also had an extensive frog collection and loved giving everyone tours of her hundreds of different frogs. All holidays were always celebrated and she elaborately decorated her house for each one giving it a festive air.

Jean is survived by her children, Karen (Don) Thompson, Skip (Wilma) Saran, and her grandchildren, Dennis Saran, Brian (Jana) Martin, Jennifer Saran, Aaron Schmeisser, Amy Hodges, Wendy (Richard) Funari, Tawnia (Michael) Fernandez, Adam (Nicole) Saran, and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Don (Theresa) Bilodeau, sister Rita Nelson, sister-in-law Bonnie Pociask, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and daughters Susan Martin and Pegi Saran.
