Jean M. O'Shea

Jean M. O'Shea, 87, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dan and son Daniel. Jean and Dan moved to New Mexico from Watertown, Massachusetts in 1958. Dan worked for the Federal government for 33 years, retiring in 1993. Jean taught ceramics and china painting at both the Highland and Palo Duro Senior Centers. Over the years she won awards for her ceramics at New Mexico State Fairs. She poured and painted vases, lamps, nightlights and other miscellaneous items. Jean was a high-fashion model in her younger years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. with mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE.
Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
