Jean T. Yonemoto Kishiyama, 95 years young, passed away peacefully at her longtime Albuquerque home Saturday, June 4, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wajuro and Koyo Ishikawa; elder sister, Nellie; and elder brother, Henry. Jean was first married for 31 years to Miyuki "Mike" Yonemoto until his death in 1985. She then married Moss Kishiyama in September 1988 who preceded her in death in 2012.
Jean is survived by her sister, Margaret Uchimura; her son, John Yonemoto (Peggy Thomas), and their children Bryan, Daniel and Sean Yonemoto.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions by check may be made to the NM JACL c/o Calvin Kobiyashi, Treasurer, P.O. Box 37074, Albuquerque, NM 87176 or a charity of your choice.
